Manjushri is the personification of supreme or divine wisdom. In Sanskrit, his names means “gentle, or sweet, glory", and is know as the “Lord of Speech”. Manjushri often depicted as wielding a flaming sword in his right hand, which represents the realization that the transcendence of wisdom cuts down ignorance and duality.

This Ivory Manjushri Lion Pendant depicts Manjushri sitting atop a lion, while holding a sword. This represents the use of wisdom to tame the mind, which is compared to subduing a ferocious lion. The backside of this pendant is engraved with the Dharma Wheel and the Swastika symbol at at the center of the Dharma Wheel. This Ivory Buddha Pendant was handmade from 100% mammoth tusk. It is pre-strung with a solid polyester rope.
